Why Cold Process?

Cold-process soap making preserves the natural glycerin produced during saponification — the same glycerin that commercial soap manufacturers strip out and sell separately. That retained glycerin contributes to a smooth, rich lather that performs consistently from the first use to the last sliver of the bar. Combined with grass-fed beef tallow and organic coconut oil, each bar delivers a dense, powerful lather specifically formulated to cut through grease, food residue, and kitchen grime — wash after wash after wash.

What Makes This Formula Different

Organic virgin coconut oil cuts through grease with ease, producing a rich cleansing lather that tackles even the heaviest pots and pans. Grass-fed beef tallow creates a hard, long-lasting bar that holds its integrity wash after wash — no dissolving into a soggy mess at the bottom of your sink. Sodium gluconate acts as a natural chelating agent, binding to minerals in hard water and leaving every dish spotlessly clean without residue or cloudiness.

Every bar is made in small batches in our home laboratory in western North Carolina, using distilled water we process ourselves. No shortcuts. No fillers. Just honest ingredients doing exactly what they’re meant to do.

Unlike essential oils that fade and dissipate over time, our plant-based fragrance oils are specifically formulated for cold-process soap — binding to the bar during saponification and delivering a true, lasting scent from first use to last. Each fragrance is phthalate-free, paraben-free, and free from petroleum-derived compounds.
